Your tour will start by picking you up from your hotel in Cairo. Then you will be transferred with a comfortable car for a drive of approximately 145km to Fayoum region. At Fayoum, you will visit the Hawara pyramid which built by king Amenemhat III which considered one of the most famous kings in the ancient Egyptian Middle Kingdom. After that you will visit El Lahun pyramid which built by king Senusert II, then you will move to Meidum pyramid the most ancient pyramid in Egypt, that represents one of the first attempts in building a pyramid.
After an amazing morning, you will have a traditional tasty lunch in a local restaurant. Afterwards, you will go to Qarun Lake the oldest natural lake in Egypt. This lake is famous in bird watching, and you will enjoy its wonderful nature. Then you will visit Fayoum museum, to see a wonderful collection of mummy portraits, statues, treasures of Roman era and other valuable items in this historical region.
The following visit will be Wadi El-Rayan National Park, it is the most beautiful site in the desert. It has natural water falls and unique desert views. It is considered one of the protected zones in Egypt to see the endemic slender-horned gazelle. Then you will reach Fayoum Oasis which provides wonderful views and unique photos. You will enjoy to watch birds and wonderful nature in this beautiful natural region. Then you will get back safely to your hotel in Cairo.
