Day 1

Christmas Arrival in Aswan

Your Christmas Nile Cruise begins in Aswan.

After boarding the Steigenberger Regency Nile Cruise, settle into your cabin and enjoy lunch onboard. Then take some time to relax on the sun deck and enjoy your first views of the Nile.

As the afternoon goes by, you can simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere onboard, watch the scenery along the river, and settle into the holiday mood.

Later, enjoy afternoon tea followed by dinner prepared onboard. Spend your first evening of the Christmas holiday relaxing on the Nile.

Day 2

Kom Ombo, Edfu and Sailing to Luxor

After breakfast, begin your sightseeing with a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo.

Built on the eastern bank of the Nile, this unusual temple was dedicated to two gods, Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Explore its symmetrical design, detailed carvings, and the ancient reliefs that give an interesting look into life and medicine in Ancient Egypt.

Return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Edfu. Enjoy lunch onboard while watching the changing scenery of Upper Egypt from the deck.

The cruise then continues through the Esna Lock on its way to Luxor. This is one of those moments where you can simply sit back, watch the ship pass through the lock, and enjoy the journey.

Later, enjoy dinner followed by a Galabeya Party with traditional Egyptian music and entertainment. It’s a fun way to experience a little of the local culture during your Christmas holiday.

Day 3

Luxor East Bank and Christmas Evening

After breakfast, head out to explore the famous East Bank of Luxor.

Start with Karnak Temple, one of the most impressive ancient religious sites in Egypt. Walk among its enormous columns, towering pylons, obelisks, and the famous Great Hypostyle Hall while discovering the history behind this incredible complex.

Continue to Luxor Temple, another must-see landmark in the city. Built by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II, the temple was an important place for religious festivals and royal ceremonies in Ancient Egypt.

After your sightseeing, return to the cruise for lunch and enjoy a relaxing afternoon onboard.

Take some time to enjoy the Nile views, relax on the sun deck, or simply slow down and enjoy the atmosphere of Christmas in Egypt.

In the evening, enjoy traditional entertainment onboard, including a Belly Dance and Tanoura Show.

Reservation & Cancellation policy

A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking and constitutes part of your final payment.
Full payment is due 30 days before the commencement of the tour.
The company has the right to cancel the booking if the payment is not received within this period.
Tour prices and dates are correct at the time of the website going live, however, are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.

From 40 to 30 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
From 29 to 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
From 14 to 7 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
From 7 to 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.

12+ pay full tour price as per adult person.

B: The policy is valid and applies to children sharing their parent’s rooms.

C: If the package includes Air Flight or Sleeping Train, then an extra charge applies as per the flight or train policy.

Single supplement:
This option is available for those who prefer traveling with others but prefer single accommodation. This will guarantee you your own room for every night of the tour. The number of single rooms we can offer is limited, so it’s best to book early.

Important Notes:
We highly recommend you book this trip as early as possible, preferably 50 days prior to departure. Reservations received within 30 days will be on request and subject to availability of accommodation.
