10 Day Egypt Tour with Nile Cruise and Alexandria

Begin your day with a drive to Alexandria, a city in Egypt that's the second-largest and is known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean. This is part of your 10 Day Luxor Aswan Nile Cruise and Alexandria Package.

Your sightseeing in Alexandria starts at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an amazing underground place that shows the mix of Egyptian, Greek and Roman styles. Then you will go to Pompey’s Pillar, one of the famous Roman monuments that still exists in Alexandria.

After that you will visit the Citadel of Qaitbay a fortress that is located where the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood. This lighthouse was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Have a seafood lunch while looking at the Mediterranean Sea. Then visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a landmark in Alexandria and an important place for culture and learning.End your day with a walk along the famous Alexandria Corniche and then go back to Cairo in the evening.

Then step into the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, honestly the biggest religious place ever built in ancient Egypt. After an early breakfast, head out to explore Luxor’s well-known West Bank, kinda calm at first. Go and see the jaw-dropping Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs were laid. Then move to the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and yes, it is one of the best ancient Egyptian architecture showcases you’ll ever spot. Take a moment at the astonishing Colossi of Memnon; these two huge statues have been standing for over 3,400 years, basically refusing to budge.

Next, come back to your Nile Cruise, as it keeps sailing straight toward Edfu. When you arrive, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage trip along the nearby streets to reach the wonderfully preserved Temple of Horus, also one of Egypt’s most well-kept ancient sites. After the tour, your cruise continues toward Kom Ombo.

After that, head back to Aswan, check out from your Nile Cruise, then transfer to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. When you arrive, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
