Itinerary

Day 1

Full Day – Philae Temple, Aswan High Dam & Abu Simbel Temples

The company’s tour manager will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and transfer you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan, where your Egyptologist guide will join you for a full-day tour.
Visit Aswan High Dam, an engineering marvel creating Lake Nasser.
Cross the Nile by motorboat to the Philae Temple complex, relocated stone by stone after the dam’s construction.
Continue to Abu Simbel Temples, the massive rock-cut monuments of Ramses II and Hathor, featuring colossal statues and intricate carvings.
After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Aswan for free time and overnight stay.
Optional Excursion: Sound & Light Show at Philae Temple
Accommodation: 1 night at Helnan Aswan Hotel

Day 2

Full Day – East & West Banks in Luxor

After breakfast, your Egyptologist guide will transfer you from Aswan to Luxor to explore the West Bank of the Nile:
Valley of the Kings, Including Tutankhamun’s tomb with Its 3,500-year-old wall paintings
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh of ancient Egypt
Colossi of Memnon, giant statues guarding the temple complex
After a short break, explore the East Bank:
Karnak Temple, Egypt’s largest religious site with massive obelisks, the Hypostyle Hall, and sacred lake
Walk along the nearly 2 km Avenue of Sphinxes to reach Luxor Temple, dedicated to the god Amun-Ra
Finally, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo, where the company’s representative will meet you and return you to your hotel.
