Itinerary

The company’s tour manager will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and transfer you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan, marking the start of your 2 Days Aswan and Luxor Tour package from Cairo, where your Egyptologist guide will join you for a full-day Cairo to Aswan tour.

Tour to Aswan High Dam which led to the creation of Lake Nasser. Cross the Nile by motorboat to visit the Philae Temple, rebuilt from scratch by stone after being moved as a result of the dam.

Proceed on to the magnificent Abu Simbel temples, one of the highlights of your Egypt tour package, with giant rock cut statues of Ramses II and Queen Hathor.

After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Aswan for free time and overnight stay.

Start your exploration on the West Bank of the Nile at the fabled Valley of the Kings, including King Tut's tomb, where you'll find ancient 3,500-year-old wall paintings. Next is the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut, the sole female ruler of the pharaohs and the statues called the Colossi of Memnon standing sentinel to her lost temple.

Enjoy a short break and make your way to the East Bank of Luxor to explore Karnak temple, Egypt's largest religious center. You'll be amazed at the colossal obelisks, the Hypostyle Hall and the sacred lake at this enormous site. Stroll down the Sphinx Avenue, nearly 2 kilometers in length, toward the Temple of Luxor dedicated to the god Amun-Ra.
